My name is Jade Saddler and I am a young and bubbly Brisbane based celebrant who would be honoured and delighted to work with you to help you celebrate your special day in your perfect way.

My wedding day was the happiest and most memorable day of my life. I Love, LOVE and I have a genuine interest in people of all ages, from all walks of life which is one of the many reasons that lead me to become a marriage celebrant.

I will personally tailor your needs and wishes, regardless of how big or small, by getting to know you both as a couple and having the honour of being able to share in your love story and bring it to life with your nearest and dearest. I will strive to meet your requirements and expectations, even if it means dressing up in themed clothing or including your treasured pet in the ceremony. I never shy away from fun and excitement!

About Me

Why I Chose To Become A Celebrant

My friends and family describe me as adventurous, fun loving, passionate, down-to-earth, friendly, sociable, creative, sentimental, compassionate and hard working.

I love animals of every kind, dancing, photography, music and all things creative, being in nature, precious time with my family and friends and talking to anyone and everyone.

Prior to becoming a celebrant, I was a full time primary school teacher for 10 years and was fortunate to perform relief work in a variety of schools in London and also teach permanent positions in rural Queensland and in Brisbane. I have also specialised in learning support and special needs in addition to teaching mainstream classes. Needless to say I am very adaptable, flexible and open-minded which I believe are essential skills as a celebrant. You can rest assured that if you choose me as your celebrant, the lead up to your big day will run smoothly and professionally.

I pride myself on working with couples to create personalised, heartfelt ceremonies that are light hearted, relaxed but also professional.

I have always been described as a people person and I love hearing about love stories and weddings plans. Having the honour of celebrating with family and friends and seeing all their creativity come to life on their wedding day is one of life’s greatest blessings I believe. I decided to take my love of weddings one step further and become a civil celebrant after seeing a young and vibrant celebrant perform at my friend’s wedding. It was fun and uplifting and there were certianly no yawns from guests like I have seen at some weddings. I was really delighted with how the celebrant told their love story and engaged with the couple’s friends and family and I knew right then and there that it was for me! I truly love my job and feel so grateful and honoured to marry couples and they always feel like friends rather than clients!

Regardless of how big or small your ceremony is I am committed to working collaboratively with you and guiding you through the legal marriage requirements and assisting you in making your ceremony perfect in every way.

My promise to you on your special day is that I will be friendly, punctual, helpful and professional and I will do everything I can to make your ceremony run as smoothly and as stress-free as possible, so that you can both have the day that you have dreamed of and that you can be as happy as I was on my wedding day!

My Service Includes

A first meeting to get to know you, hear about your exciting plans and lodge the first part of the legal paperwork (Notice of Intended Marriage form) which must be completed at least one calendar month prior to the wedding day

Meetings/emails/ phone calls (depending on what best suits you) to collaborate, plan and finalise your unique and personalised ceremony

Delivering a heartfelt ceremony in a professional manner which captures your wishes and personal style as a couple

Preparation, lodgement and registration of all the legal paperwork before, during and after the ceremony

A wedding rehearsal at the venue or your home (if you would like one)

Liaising with other wedding personnel (event/ wedding planners) if required

Your own copy of your personalised wedding ceremony displayed in a folder, Commemorative Marriage Certificate & I will also apply for your official marriage certificate on your behalf too

Professional PA and wireless microphone (if required you can stream your music from any bluetooth audio-equipped device)

Signing table and chairs if required

There will be an additional travel cost if the ceremony is outside the Brisbane area and for travel to the rehearsal venue ($100 Gold Coast, $100 Sunshine Coast, $100 Mount Mee, $100 Mount Tambourine, $150 Northern New South Wales, $150 Somerset Dam, $200 Toowoomba, $150 Gympie, $200 Bunya Mountains & Gordon Country $200).

From the moment we asked Jade to be our celebrant, she was almost more excited about our wedding than we were. Jade was on board for anything and everything, had so much patience for our indecisiveness and gave us so many options for the scripting that it made it so easy and to have exactly what we wanted for our ceremony. Creating our ceremony with Jade was so much fun and her bubbly energy made all the boring paperwork bits a breeze.

Jade was so excited to have our Pup Ziggy as a part of the ceremony, as well as being completely supportive of how we wanted to acknowledge same sex marriage as a part of our ceremony. Her energy throughout the ceremony was infectious and definitely fit the festival vibe we had for the day.

Ceremony Prices

Personalised Marriage Ceremonies: $1000

Elopement/ Registry Style Ceremony, Commitment Ceremonies

& Renewal of Vows: $600

Legals only

(couple +2 legal witnesses: $400

I can also co-deliver your ceremony with your family/ friend

Refund Policy: A non-refundable booking fee of $200 is due 7 days after completing the Notice of Intended Marriage Form. The balance of payment is due 14 days prior to the wedding day. If unfortunately the wedding is cancelled the couple will be fully refunded.
